Preventative Maintenance

Everyone has heard of it and most will agree that every piece of machinery needs it. Unfortunately, a lot of people put it off until they have a problem; and, of course, it's usually too late at that point for an economical maintenance visit. Your home A/C system needs the same attention and maintenence you'd give your car. For example, if you never change your car's oil and then proceed to drive it until it stops, it will cost considerably more to fix than if you had kept up with its routine maintenence.

The comfort level in our homes is largely dependent upon a properly operating HVAC system. In case you don't believe that, turn your A/C off for 4 or 5 hours on a warm day and see how comfortable you feel then!

AllState Mechanical has designed a Preventive Maintenance Program for our residential clients that is second to none. And, it is one of the most economical ways to maintain your system. Between the energy you save by having your air conditioner operating at it's peak efficiency and the additional peace of mind it will give you, there's no reason to wait.

Plus, AllState Mechanical is a GRU approved contractor. So if you are a GRU customer, you may even get a portion of the cost returned to you by means of a rebate in your utility bill. For additional information about this rebate program, call 352.472.4001.

Prompt, Professional, Factory-Authorized Repairs

As the "#1 Name in Air Conditioning and Heating", we know that providing you with courteous, fast, friendly, knowledgeable repair service is a must. It is just one of the things that sets us apart and makes us #1. That’s why we guarantee that our technicians are factory trained to repair any make or model air conditioning system. And in most cases, we can service your system the same day you call us. Additionally, we only use factory certified parts; so when the repair is completed, your equipment will be repaired to the same factory specifications as when it was new. Finally, AllState honors ALL manufacturers warranties! Procuring the parts, warranty processing, part return processing, etc: we take care of it all for you. No forms to fill out or extensive waits for credits.

That's why if your air conditioner ever needs to be repaired, you can call AllState at 352.472.4001 and expect to be treated like our one and only customer!

WHEN REPLACEMENT IS THE ONLY ANSWER

We will do all we can to repair your HVAC and avoid replacing the system. Sometimes, however, replacement is the only answer. If that's the case, then you can be sure that AllState will take every step to ensure that your home is equipped with the best possible system.

The AllState Mechanical Complete Comfort Package

The price you are quoted for the package you choose is what you pay: to the penny.
NO HIDDEN COSTS or SURPRISES!

Like you, your home is unique. That’s why AllState Mechanical will design a home comfort system that meets your individual climate control needs. If you’re concerned about allergies, then we’ll include added filtration. If mold and mildew are your concern, then we’ll design a system that reduces moisture. Whatever your needs, AllState Mechanical can design a system that’s perfect for you.

In addition to your custom climate control system, AllState gives you the peace of mind that your system was installed professionally and legally; we’ll acquire all required permits for the job and then have the city or county mechanical inspector check it to make sure it’s up to code. Plus, any A/C we install comes with a 2-year maintenance agreement which includes routine system checks and adjustments to keep your new system running like new.

And just to make sure your new unit runs as efficiently as possible, we’ll replace your old thermostat with a top-of-the-line, user-friendly, easy-to-operate Honeywell digital thermostat. Not the cheap, basic, builders' grade models used by some of our competitors.

We will not always be the least expensive, but we believe that the "bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a cheap price remains". After all, an air conditioning and heating system is such an important (if not crucial) component of your home. Do you really want the cheapest you can get? If $100 to $200 in additional costs are incurred to give you a professional quality product, that would work out to about $13 per year based upon a 15 year life expectancy. Your comfort and peace of mind are worth at least that much.

 The AllState Mechanical Job Guarantee

EVERY installation performed by AllState Mechanical is GUARANTEED to pass a stringent inspection by your municipality's building department. All of the newest code requirements and upgrades are incorporated into your installation. Our solid reputation comes from years of providing our clients with "Priority Care" service, delivered quickly, efficiently and professionally.

A job done by AllState Mechanical goes beyond the technical service. To protect you - the homeowner - we make sure that every job we do is met with legal approval for your protection. Yes, legal approval! A lot of contractors don't even bring it up. A mechanical permit is required to replace your air conditioning system. The new system also must be brought up to the most current mechanical codes; all of which can be very costly to a contractor. Despite this cost, however, we wouldn't do business any other way.

If your A/C unit needs to be replaced, we acquire all necessary permits to do the job. Then, once the job is done, the A/C unit is inspected by the City or County Mechanical Inspector. This protects you by ensuring that your installation was performed legally and meets today's stringent building codes. Plus, it also serves as a bonus to a potential buyer when the time comes to sell your home.

Once a new unit is installed, AllState Mechanical wants to make sure that it runs as efficiently as possible. That’s why every A/C installation includes a 2-year maintenance plan that provides you with free system checks, adjustments and inspections for the first two years of your unit’s life.

Indoor Air Quality - Safe Clean Air For Your Family
You strive to make your home a safe place where you and your family always can feel protected. This is why you might install security systems, strong locks and fire alarms. But break-ins and fires rarely pose any danger to your family. But do you know that what you can’t see might be what can hurt your family the most?

Bacteria, mold, dust, pet dander and other air pollutants are everywhere inside your home. They’re the cause of many allergies and can trigger conditions such as asthma and recurring headaches. They’re dangerous to children and adults with compromised immune systems, especially the elderly. They’re strong, silent and potentially deadly. They affect your air quality and your quality of life. These invisible pollutants can take your home from a safe haven to a hazardous - and sometimes toxic - environment.

So, how do you detect these pollutants and get rid of them? That’s where we come in. AllState Mechanical offers a complete air quality test that checks the air in your home for various pollutants. During the test we’ll check your home for:

  • algae
  • bacteria
  • carpet fibers
  • chemical vapors from gas appliances
  • dirt
  • dust
  • dust mites
  •  fireplace vapors
  • fungi
  • insulation particles
  • mold spores
  • paint vapors
  • perfume vapors
  • pesticides
  • pet dander
  • pollen
  • tobacco smoke
  • vapors from cleaning products
  • viruses
  • yeast

To check for these pollutants, our technician will evaluate certain elements within your home. These include:

Humidity
Living in Florida, we know that humidity can promote the growth of mildew, algae, mold and other air pollutants. Too much humidity in your home can also cause you to feel warmer at normal temperatures. These both contribute to your air quality and how comfortable you feel inside your home.

Moisture
With humidity comes moisture, which also will promote mold growth. Moisture within your walls, around your windows or doors, or in your attic can lead to serious health issues. If you or a family member suddenly feels ill or develops respiratory or immune disorders, you may want to check your home for mold growth.

Air Filtration
A top-notch cooling system will only work well if the filter being used with it is in optimal condition. A dirty air filter can allow air pollutants into your home; these air pollutants can then cause family members to experience allergies, colds and other respiratory problems. Plus, a dirty air filter will also decrease your system’s efficiency and may even damage it. This will lead to higher utility bills and system repair costs that could have been avoided.

Ducts
Your air conditioning or heating system can be in perfect working order. But, if your ducts are leaking or damaged, then the air that’s being supplied by the system won’t get to the right place. Your heating and cooling costs can skyrocket if your ducts are not working properly and efficiently distributing the air throughout your home. In addition to not efficiently heating or cooling your home, damaged ducts can let in air pollutants that can cause serious health problems. These pollutants hide within the ducts and get into your home whenever air is being pushed through. You can’t prevent all air pollutants from getting into your home, but you can significantly reduce their presence by having your ducts cleaned and ridding them of dust, bacteria, mold spores, and other toxins. Broken and leaking duct systems waste your money! Do you really want to air condition your attic?

Carbon Monoxide
By now, you probably have heard about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning. However, do you know what to do to prevent it? Besides installing carbon monoxide detectors throughout your home, you should have your heating system checked to make sure that the carbon monoxide it produces is being vented properly. If the carbon monoxide produced by your heating system is not vented properly, it can enter your home without your knowledge. It’s invisible, odorless, colorless and undetectable by humans. But it can lead to serious injury and death with prolonged exposure. You owe it to yourself and your family to have your system checked for carbon monoxide leakage from your heating appliance.

Volatile Organic Compounds
You might think that a new home means a cleaner home, devoid of many air pollutants found in older homes. While this is true when referring to certain pollutants, it is not accurate when referring to others. New homes have new carpets, new paint, new adhesives, new flooring, and dozens of other new items. These new items may be free of mold or mildew, but they’re not free from other toxic pollutants called volatile organic compounds. Volatile organic compounds are fumes that are emitted from things like paint, synthetic fibers and cleaning products, as well as many auto care supplies.

So while no home can be pollutant-free, AllState Mechanical will do its best to ensure that your home’s air becomes as safe and comfortable as possible.
